Hydraulic Chucks
The same basic principles, described for the expansion of hydraulic arbors, apply for the contraction of hydraulic chucks.
Normal Expansionor Contraction:
.003 for the first full inch diameter .002 for each additional full inch diameter
Normal expansion or contraction can be altered depending on the application.
Accuracy:
Zero Gage Co. hydraulic arbors and chucks are manufactured to a standard repeatably of 0.0002 T.I.R. Other tolerances are available depending on part variables.
